Mel grew up in the Sibley area and graduated from veterinary technician in the Fall of 1977. She promptly began working at the Sibley Veterinary Clinic the following week with Drs. Walt Herrmann and Robert Wahl. Not only does she serve as a veterinary technician, but she also manages the business aspect of running the clinic, making sure there are plenty of products on the shelves for clients. She has an immense amount of knowledge in the veterinary field and is always willing to help answer any questions our clients have.
